This is for your typical hunting rifle and shotgun. It is the first of two available courses and involves 8 hours of instructions with plenty of opportunities to handle deactivated firearms and ammunition. It concludes with a 50 question written test and a hands on practical test to ensure you can handle, transport and store firearms safely.
This 2 DAY course will take place on January 14 & 15, 2022 at Northern Lakes College from 6:30p.m. to 9p.m. on Friday evening & Saturday from 9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. with a break for lunch.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have taken the PAL course previously, you do not have to take it again. Please contact the Chief Firearms Officer at 1-800-731-4000 for a copy of your past PAL certificate. It is NOT NECESSARY to take the course a second time. You don't need to pay for it again.
