Amanda is passionate about people and creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to grow. With a background in administration, finance, and nonprofit work, she brings both practical experience and a heart for serving her community to her role as Executive Director.

Amanda loves being part of Vision Learning Centre and helping create an environment where learners and staff feel valued, supported, and empowered to move forward with confidence.

Shauna is dedicated to helping her community thrive. As our Learning Facilitator, she’s the welcoming face greeting you at the door, ready to connect you with all the opportunities available at the Vision Learning Centre.

Shauna supports our adult learners in a variety of ways—from one-on-one math and English tutoring to utilizing her French skills and troubleshooting tech questions. She is passionate about empowering people to achieve their educational goals.

Off the clock, you’ll usually find Shauna outdoors, paddleboarding down the Peace River and enjoying local life.

Donna Calvo is a caring and experienced English language learning teacher who brings warmth and compassion to the classroom.

 

With over 30 years of experience teaching medical classes, Donna’s transition to teaching English showcases her adaptability and expertise. She creates a nurturing and inclusive environment, tailoring her methods to meet each student’s unique needs.

 

Beyond language acquisition, Donna supports her students’ overall well-being and success. Her dedication and genuine desire to make a positive impact empower students to improve their English skills with confidence.

Jenny Oslie is a dedicated and compassionate mathematics educator with more than 50 years of experience supporting learners in many settings. Her background includes classroom teaching, one-on-one tutoring, community programs, and educational work within the local jail system.

 

She is known for her patient, encouraging approach and her ability to meet students where they are. Jenny focuses on building confidence, strengthening core skills, and helping learners make steady, practical progress. She believes every student can learn and improve with the right support, clear instruction, and consistent encouragement.
