Our History

Vision Learning Centre has a rich history of serving the community through education. Originally founded as the Peace River & District Further Education Council, we have evolved to meet the changing needs of our learners.

    •    1997: Our name was changed to the Peace Association for Life Long Learning to better reflect our commitment to lifelong education.

    •    Our current operating name, Vision Learning Centre, signifies our strong relationship with Vision Credit Union, who generously provide us with our office space in downtown Peace River. During their period as Horizon Credit Union, we were known as Horizon Learning Centre.
