May 26, 2025: A Hug at the Store + Thank You + What’s Next

Hey,

It’s Chelsey from Vision Learning Centre.

I want to say thank you.

This past weekend, so many of you showed up at our BBQ at Freson Bros.

You grabbed a hot dog or a smokie.

You stopped to chat.

You donated.

You showed up.

And we felt the love.

Big thanks to Freson Bros for hosting us.

This week, I ran into a student we’ve been working with—computer skills, resumes, job hunting.

She gave me the biggest hug right there in the store.

She said:

“Chelsey, I just started working here—and I love it. Thank you for helping me.”

That’s why we do this.

That’s why Vision Learning Centre is here.

Your support helps adults in Peace River learn to read.

Write.

Use a computer.

Get jobs they love.

Change their lives.

We’ve got one month left before the office closes for the summer.
